3 Series E36 Z3 (M54) ROADST
Release screws (1) on plastic retainer (2) and fold out lug (3).
Note:
Securing rail is disassembled.
Detach cover from adhesive fastening on plastic retainer.
Raise convertible top out of convertible top compartment.
Installation:
Stick on cover with double-sided adhesive tape, e.g. Tesafix
4965, to plastic retainer at front.
Drill out rivets (1) on B-pillar mounting.
Drill out rubber band mounting (2).
Note:
Drill carefully so as not to damage convertible top cover.
Installation:
Only steel rivets (1) may be used.
Drill out rivets (1) and (2) from plastic deflector (3) on left/right.
Installation:
Rivet down spring part of mount on front rivet (1) under plastic
deflector.
Only steel rivets (1 + 2) may be used.
