3 Series E46 316Ci (N45) COUPE
Place injector (2) with Loctite sealing compound, manufacturer's
number 128357, on nozzle (1).
Using injector (2), inject Loctite sealing compound,
manufacturer's number 128357, slowly and carefully until it
emerges at grooves (3) of radial shaft seals at front and rear.
Note:
Loctite primer, manufacturer's number 171000, binds the Loctite
sealing compound, manufacturer's number 128357, and prevents
leakage.
Coat surface of sealing compound in both grooves (1) with
Loctite primer, manufacturer's number 171000.
Installation:
Install flywheel.
Install all pistons.
Install timing chain with chain guide.
Install cylinder head.
Assemble engine.
