3 Series E46 316Ci (N45) COUPE
Unclip plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unclip upper section of plastic guide (3).
Feed out cable (2) from monitor sensor.
Remove exhaust system with measuring probe (4), replace if
necessary.
Release screws (1) and remove reinforcement plate (2).
Release screws (3). Reinforcement plate (4) is connected to
exhaust system via rubber mounts and does not have to be
removed.
Important!
Removal of the exhaust system must be carried out with the
assistance of a second person.
Release nuts on left rubber mount of rear muffler.
