Replacing rear axle carrier
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove complete rear axle carrier and if necessary with
other workers assisting set down on a suitable surface
Remove rear differential.
If necessary, remove ride-height sensor with holder from rear axle
carrier.
Remove stabilizer bar.
Remove lower control arm on both sides from rear axle carrier.
Remove upper control arm on both sides from rear axle carrier.
Remove trailing arm on both sides with output shaft and upper
control arm.
After installation:
•
Adjusting handbrake
•
Perform chassis alignment check
