Replacing cover on side window cutout,
bottom left or right (Coupé)
Unhook connecting rod on hinged window,
refer to 51 43 ...
Release clip (1) and pull off trim strip (2) towards top.
Detach rest of trim strip (1) and pull out at rear from water drain
(2).
Open hinged window (3) slightly for disassembly.
Caution!
Open rear hinged window (3) by max. 193 mm, otherwise
hinge will be damaged (wind noises).
Installation:
Remove rest of adhesive tape and clean contact surface.
Detach liner (1) on grip lug (2) from trim strip (3).
