3 Series E46 316i (N42) SAL
Unlock and detach coolant hoses (1 to 3).
Note:
Hoses of power steering pump remain connected.
Note:
Water pump is secured by two screws to power steering pump.
Align belt pulley of power steering pump to one of the screws of
the water pump.
Slacken first screw between water pump and power steering
pump approx. one turn.
Tightening torque 11 51 2AZ

Align belt pulley of power steering pump to second screw of water
pump.
Slacken second screw between water pump and power steering
pump approx. one turn.
Tightening torque 11 51 2AZ
.
Release screws and remove power steering pump with water
pump from engine block.
