3 Series E46 316i (N42) TOUR
Turn back special tool 11 9 293 .
Fit special tool 11 9 291 on exhaust camshaft and check timing
adjustment.
Note:
The timing is correctly adjusted when the special tool 11 9 291
rests without any gap on the cylinder head or is raised up to
1.0 mm to inlet side.
If necessary, adjust camshaft timing.
Remove special tool 11 9 291 with special tool 11 9 293 .
Remove special tool 11 9 292 .
Remove special tool 11 9 190 / 11 5 150 .
Assemble engine.
