3 Series E46 316i (N42) TOUR
Remove special tool 11 9 310 from oil line and feed out from
intermediate lever.
Relieve tension on knurled screw (2) on special tool 11 9 301 .
Release screw (1) and remove special tool 11 9 301 .
Release special tool 11 9 303 .
Remove special tool 11 9 302 from bearing bracket (1).
Rotate eccentric shaft at hexagon (see illustration).
Pretension torsion spring (2) with a cable strap (1) and carefully
fit on roller (3).
RA Removing and installing/replacing exhaust camshaft (N42/N46)
