3 Series E46 316i (N42) TOUR
Clean connection faces of vehicle and spare part and coat with
zinc dust paint.
Insert reinforcement plate (1) approx. 30 mm in D-pillar and weld.
Drill holes for plug welding cover reinforcement plate for side
member in spare part.
Drill holes for plug welding C-pillar reinforcement plate in spare
part.
Drill holes for plug welding D-pillar reinforcement plate in spare
part.
Clean all connection faces and coat with zinc dust paint.
Install shaped parts for cavity bulkhead.
Installation of shaped parts for cavity bulkhead,
refer to 41 00 ... Installation of shaped parts for cavity bulkhead,
except cover for side member
