Removing and installing/replacing sound
insulation in left or right front door (Compact)
Special tools required:
•
00 9 317
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front door trim
•
Remove airbag module in front door
Carefully lever out clips (1) of Bowden cable guide (2) (risk of
damage).
Using special tool 00 9 317 , lever out sealing bead (1) of
sound insulation (2) completely or if necessary partially.
Disconnect plug connection (4) from speaker.
Feed out all leads from sound insulation (2).

Lead for airbag module
Note:
Work with particular care in lower area otherwise sound
insulation (2) will tear and must be replaced (leakage).
