3 Series E46 316ti (N45) COMP
Fit special tool 11 7 260 as illustrated.
Align locating bores of sensor gears to alignment pins on special
tool 11 7 260 .
Secure sensor gears with special tool 11 7 260 .
Screw special tool 11 7 260 to cylinder head.
Slacken screw (1) of exhaust adjustment unit by a half turn.
Slacken screw (2) of inlet adjustment unit by a half turn.
Fit socket on screws (1 and 2) and tighten by hand without
play.
Pretension clamping rail by turning adjusting screw with special
tool 00 9 250 or commercially available torque wrench to
0.6 Nm.
