Removing and installing/replacing airbag
module on left or right front door
Warning!
Observe safety regulations for handling airbag modules and
pyrotechnical seatbelt tensioners.
Incorrect handling can activate airbag and cause injury.
Remove ignition key.
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery.
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove front door trim panel.
Follow instructions for unlocking and locking airbag plug
connections.
Unlock plug (1) and detach from airbag module.
Installation:
Supply lead must not be scuffed or kinked at any point!
Release screws and remove airbag module.
Installation:
Always replace microencapsulated screws.
Tightening torque, 72 12 1AZ.
