alternator (M43, M43TU, M44)
General information, refer to 12 00 ...
M43, M44 only:
Read fault memory.
All:
Disconnect battery ground wire.
Follow instructions on disconnecting and connecting battery,
refer to 12 00 ...
Remove air cleaner upper section with air flow sensor or air-mass
flow sensor.
Remove alternator drive belts, refer to 11 28 010
With hydraulic drive belt tensioner:
Remove guide pulley.
Installation:
Fit screw in thread (1) of upper reversing roller.
