Note:
No measurement can be specified for the side section
reinforcement cutting line.
The spare part must therefore be made according to the
cutting line on the body.
Note:
When fitting side section reinforcement, make sure sunroof
water drainage pipe (2) is seated in wheel arch extension (1).
Procedure:
Determine cutting line for side section reinforcement spare part
using "prominent points", e.g. bores, beads etc., on body.
On side section reinforcement spare part, add an extra
measurement of approx. 10 mm and cut roughly.
Cutting line (1) lies roughly within bead (2).
Fit side section reinforcement spare part and locate in position.
Determine and mark out cutting line of spare part according to
cutting line on body.
Remove side section reinforcement spare part.
