Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil sump (N40/N42/N45/N46)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front splash guard.
•
Drain engine oil.
•
Secure engine in installation position.
•
Remove oil dipstick guide tube.
•
Unlock and detach plug connection to oil level sensor.
•
Unlock and detach plug connection to chassis and
suspension sensor.
There is no need to perform a front axle alignment check.
Cut through cable tie (1).
Unscrew cover plate (2) from transmission.
Release screws (1 and 2), remove guide pulley (3).
