3 Series E46 318d (M47) SAL
Removal:
Subsequent removal of injection pump is described separately
from installation.
The assembly sequence for removal and installation is different
from this point.
Release central nut (21 A/F) on injection pump shaft.
In doing so, grip crankshaft at front central bolt.
Retighten central nut to approx. 30 Nm.
Remove plug (1) of alignment bore from crankcase.
