3 Series E46 318d (M47) SAL
Release central nut on injection pump shaft.
Screw in and secure special tool 13 5 190 without forcing screw.
Insert jack screw (1) in special tool 13 5 190 and detach
sprocket wheel from injection pump shaft.
Caution!
Leave special tool 13 5 190 installed until injection pump is
reinstalled; otherwise chain wheel falls out and engine must
be disassembled.
Remove forcing screw only.
