3 Series E46 318d (M47TU) TOUR
Determine and mark out cutting line for D-pillar:
Distance (A) = 10 mm from bore for support, ball head, gas-filled
strut.
Determine and mark out cutting line for D-pillar:
Distance (A) = 90 mm from bore for retaining clip, trim strip (1).
Distance (B) = 90 mm from bore for retaining clip, trim strip (1).
Determine and mark cutting line for cover for rear side member:
Measurement (A) = 130 mm from center of bore for panel for
cover on side member (1) with dia. 9.5 mm.
Measurement (B) = 70 mm from center of bore for panel for cover
on side member (2) with dia. 9.5 mm.
3 = Bore in cover for side member with dia. 16 mm
Determine and mark cutting line for cover for rear side member:
Measurement (A) = 10 mm from center of bore for finishing strip,
entrance (1) with dia. 5.5 mm.
2 = Bore in cover for side member with dia. 16 mm
3 = Bore for panel for cover on side member with dia. 9.5 mm.
RA Replacing rear left side wall (part replacement C- and D-pillar, top) (touring)
