Attach special tool 51 3 010 to tool trolley. Moisten suction surfaces and secure side window.
When reusing old side window, remove residual adhesive to 0.5 mm.
Remove rest of dual-lock tapes (9). Clean bonding area and stick on new dual-lock tapes (9).
Almost vertical part (B) of adhesive bead (1) must face PVC spray coating (5).
Spread adhesive bead with special tool 00 9 322.
Fit side window with special tool 51 3 010 at bottom. Chrome strip
(1) must be flush at front with body edge (2).
Attach side window at top (1) and slide completely to rear (2).
Close rear door.
Adapt side window if necessary to rear-door and snap into dual-
lock tapes.
Fix side window in position with yellow plastic adhesive tape
(sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
