3 Series E46 318td (M47TU) COMP
Release self-locking nut (1).
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Withdraw tensioning roller with lever (1) in direction of arrow.
Loosen screws (1).
Remove belt tensioner (2).
Installation:
Opening on housing of belt tensioner (2) must be turned to
alternator.
Align belt tensioner, insert screws (1) but do not tighten
down. Install tensioning roller with lever and then tighten down
screws (1).
