3 Series E46 318td (M47TU) COMP
Clean all connecting points to be welded and soldered on new
part and body and coat with welding primer.
Remove all traces of adhesive and sealing compound from roof
frame and roof cross-member and clean.
Apply window glass bonding adhesive (1) (sourcing reference:
BMW Parts Service).
Fit new part on body. For positioning, set up roof drip moldings and windshield.
Secure roof outer skin with screws (3).
Spot-weld areas (1).
RA Replacing roof outer skin (version with slide/tilt sunroof)
