Removing and installing/replacing door brake
on left or right front door (compact)
Remove speaker.
Remove sound insulation in front area only.
Raise the door window.
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Removing window guide channel at front/bottom:
Lever out insert nut (1).
Release nut (2).
Pull rubber guide (4) out of window guide channel (5).
Lever window guide channel (5) out of inner door panel (3).
Lever cable clip (1) out of window guide channel (2) and remove.
Installation:
Coat rubber guide (3) with water prior to installation.
Installation:
Following parts of window guide channel (3) must not be
damaged:
