Additional straightening angle elements and portal fixtures
E46 compact
Situation:
Additional fixtures to the basic E46 straightening angle set are required for professional
body repairs on the E46 compact (CELETTE and CARBENCH).
In addition, portal fixtures and new data sheets are recommended for the B-pillar, tailgate
hinges and backrest catches (CELETTE and CARBENCH).
In the case of the electronic measuring systems from CAR-O-LINER, it is only necessary to
update the data sheets.
The additional straightening angle elements and portal fixtures / vehicle data sheets can be
called off from the launch of the E46 compact.
CELETTE
The portal fixtures are to be used in conjunction with the portal gauge (order
number 81 41 9 428 451 / 626).
CARBENCH
These portal fixtures are to be used in conjunction with the CARBENCH portal gauge.
The universal straightening angle set has already been recommended as a further
alternative for body repairs with the Car Bench straightening angle system. To perform
repair work, the setup plan relevant to the vehicle (A4233100) is the only additional item
required.
CAR-O-LINER
Data sheet 2:046 should be selected for repairs to the E46/5 compact underbody.
Data sheet 602:030 should be selected for repairs to the E46/5 compact upper body.
Procedure:
The relevant fixtures will be stocked as store tools and will only be delivered to order.
