3 Series E46 318ti (N42) COMP
Important!
Note installation direction of sprocket wheel (2).
Collar on sprocket wheel (2) points to crankshaft.
Feed sprocket wheel (2) into timing chain (1).
Pull timing chain (1) upwards until sprocket wheel (2) rests
against chain guide (3).
Hold timing chain (1) and sprocket wheel (2) in this position.
Install complete chain guide with timing chain (1), slide rail (2)
and clamping rail (3) from above.
