Replacing both oxygen control sensors
(N42/N46)
Special tools required:

11 7 020
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform this task on an engine that has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front splash guard.
Note:
For purposes of clarity, this work step is shown without the
reinforcement plate.
Open both cable clips (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Pull plug coupling (3) out of retaining plate.
Release both oxygen sensors (4) with special tool
11 7 020 .
