3 Series E46 318ti (N42) COMP
Partially lever out cover on rear seat backrest.
Release screws (1).
Remove lock to one side and in so doing feed out actuating
rod (2) of backrest release.
Unclip Bowden cable.
Installation:
Make sure component is properly clipped into place.
Twist out Bowden cable (1) under locking lever (2) and feed out.
Installation:
Perform function check with rear seat backrest folded forward.
