Removing and installing/replacing airbag
module on passenger side
Warning!
Observe safety regulations for handling airbag modules and
pyrotechnical seatbelt tensioners.
Incorrect handling can activate airbag and cause injury.
Remove ignition key.
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery!
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Warning!
Each time an airbag is triggered, it is necessary to replace the
passenger airbag deployment door!
The retaining straps of the airbag deployment door may be
damaged when an airbag is triggered.
If a predamaged airbag deployment door is reused, correct
operation of the retaining straps can no longer be guaranteed.
Remove right fresh air grill.
