Removing and installing/replacing top lines
on control unit (on convertible top)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
If necessary, remove hard top.
•
Follow repair instructions for hydraulic system.
•
Remove side trim panel at top.
Open side windows and convertible top compartment lid, position
clamping bar vertically.
Note:
Support convertible top compartment lid.
Detach hydraulic lines.
Stow convertible top in its compartment.
Installation:
The lines are designed in such a way as to prevent them being
mixed up.
Ensure lines are in their proper positions.
Disconnect hydraulic lines at top from control unit:
•
Release screw (1) and remove tab washer (2).
•
Remove hydraulic lines.
