Removing and installing/replacing both
convertible top locks (fully automatic)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove trim on convertible top lock.
Warning!
Danger of locking in position!
Secure convertible top compartment lid and convertible top
against lowering.
Detach drive shafts (1) from fasteners.
Left convertible top, additionally:
•
Disconnect plug connection (2), detach housing and
remove.
Remove fastener (1) from damper base.
Feed out damper base, turn lever (2) slightly towards rear and
down.
