Important!
Only cut through outer metal of B-pillar and remove metal
cutout.
Note:
The cut-out "window" is needed for subsequent repairs!
Cut through marked cutting line.
Mark out cutting line for B-pillar reinforcement in cut-open area of
B-pillar (window).
Cutting line lies in center (1/2 A) of cut-out window (A).
Cut through marked cutting line.
Define separating point in cover for side member and mark out.
Measurement (A) = 30 mm from edge of oval bore for entrance
cover strip (1).
This is the second oval bore viewed from the B-pillar.
2 = First oval bore for entrance cover strip, viewed from B-pillar.
Measurement (B) = 125 mm from center of bore for panel for
cover on side member (3), dia. 9.5 mm.
This is the third bore, dia. 9.5 mm, viewed from the B-pillar.
Fit spare part.
