Expose connection points between
-
B-pillar reinforcement
-
side reinforcement
from interior.
Important!
Combustible foam in welding area!
Avoid overheating.
Extract vapours.
Weld bulkhead for cover on side member from interior.
Make and fit reinforcement plates for B-pillar cutting line from
remaining metal sheet.
Width of reinforcements: Approx. 40 mm.
Note:
The lower reinforcement plate must be cut out as shown on
account of a welding spot in the B-pillar.
