Caution!
When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.
Cover alternator with suitable materials.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an alternator
malfunction.
Note:
To prevent excessive oil discharge when the oil pressure switch is
removed, it is essential to drain the main flow oil filter.
Caution!
Do not damage main flow oil filter cover; release and tighten
down with socket only.
When the main flow oil filter cover is released, the engine oil
flows from the oil filter housing back into the sump.
Release main flow oil filter cover and take off.
