Determine and mark inside B-pillar cutting line:
Measurement (A) = 50 mm from centre of hole of upper seatbelt
height adjustment fixture.
Important!
Prior to cutting, support roof!
Important!
Protect ITS head airbag so that it cannot be damaged during
welding or grinding work.
Due to
•
welding chips
•
grinding chips
•
excess heating over 70
°
C
the functional capability may be impaired. In extreme cases, it
will not be able to function at all!
Important!
Only separate the outer sheet metal of the B-column.
Cut through marked cutting line of B-pillar, outside, measurements
"C,D" or "E,F".
Drill off spot welding.
Remove metal cutout, "window".
