Removing and installing left or right rear side
trim panel (compact)
Special tools required:
•
00 9 317
Note:
Open front door and door window.
Remove trim for belt guide.
Remove front entrance cover strip.
Warning!
Version with side airbag:
Follow safety instructions for working on cars with airbag
systems.
Caution!
Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove the panel (risk of
damage to side airbag).
Version with side airbag:
Lever out airbag emblem (1) with special tool 00 9 317 (trim
panel wedge).
Unfasten screws (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque, 51 43 3AZ.
