3 Series E46 320td (M47TU) COMP
Installation:
Insert a screwdriver into retaining clip (1) for retaining clip (2) of
airbag door.
Turn screwdriver slightly until clip (1) is expanded and retaining
clip (2) can be removed.
Remove upper part of faulty retaining clip from airbag door.
Important!
Do not damage instrument panel trim when setting airbag
door down.
Release screws (1) and lay airbag door (2) upwards.
Installation:
Tightening torque 72 12 10AZ

Release screws of passenger airbag module (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 72 12 11AZ
.
Important!
Do not pull on cable when removing passenger airbag
module (1)!
Raise passenger airbag module (1) and move to one side to gain
access to plug connection.
Release lock by pressing on lug (2).
Disconnect plug connection (3).
Remove passenger airbag module (1).
