Examples for procedure:
1.
Attach sealing tape to adhesive area for B-pillar/inner side
member on spare part.
2.
Install spare part in correct position and locate.
3.
Remove spare part again and check impression of sealing
tape to ascertain contact pattern; if necessary, straighten
mating surfaces.
Contact pattern must be uniform
Maximum spacing of adhesive areas 1 mm.
4.
Repeat contact pattern test after straightening.
Make and fit reinforcement plate for cutting line for B-pillar
reinforcement from remaining metal sheet.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 40 mm
Make and fit reinforcement plate for C-pillar separating point from
remaining metal sheet.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 40 mm
Make and fit reinforcement plate for cover separating point for side
member from remaining metal sheet.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 60 mm
