Removing and installing/replacing trim strip
on left or right water drain (Coupé)
Note:
Two people are needed to remove and install the trim strip.
Unhook connecting rod on hinged window,
refer to 51 43 ...
Note:
Detach mucket (1) of front door only to such an extent that
cable (2) of anti-trap protection is not damaged.
Note:
Trim strip is secured with up to 15 screws.
Partially detach muckets (1) and (2).
Release screws (4).
Caution!
Open rear hinged window (3) by max. 193 mm, otherwise
hinge will be damaged (wind noises).
Pull out trim strip (1) initially in corner (2), then rest and finally at
front (3).
