Note:
The threaded plate for the striker retaining screws is loosely
fitted and can fall out once the two striker retaining screws
have been released!
When replacing striker, always leave one of the retaining screws
(2) in threaded plate.
Threaded plate (1) is only held in place by striker retaining screws
(2)!
Protect trunk lid to prevent it from dropping, then remove gas
pressure prop.

Adjustment of trunk lid:
Caution!
Before closing the trunk lid and when closing the trunk lid,
ensure that the body and/or trunk lid are not damaged.
Striker must not brush against rear lid lock.
