Removing and installing/replacing DISA
adjustment unit
Turn off ignition.
E46 only:
Disconnect intake hose between air-mass flow sensor and
connecting piece.
Unlock plug (1) and detach from DISA adjustment unit (DISA =
differentiated air intake system).
Release screws.
Withdraw DISA adjustment unit (1) from intake air manifold.
