3 Series E46 330xd (M57) SAL
Position special tool 11 6 321 on inlet camshaft and secure
with special tool 11 6 322 (1).
When releasing camshaft screw connection, grip camshaft at
hexagon head with wrench (1).
Slacken screw (2).
Note:
Tighten screw (2) without play; sprocket wheel can still be
rotated to camshaft.
When releasing camshaft screw connection, grip camshaft at
hexagon head with wrench (2).
Loosen screw (1).
Note:
Tighten screw (1) without play; sprocket wheel can still be
rotated to camshaft.
Note:
When tightening camshaft screw connection, grip camshafts
at hexagon drive.
Tighten down inlet sprocket wheel with special tool
00 9 120 .
Tightening specification, 11 31 4AZ
