Replacing preheating valve (M57)
Caution!
Turn off ignition.
Caution!
When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.
Cover alternator with suitable materials.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an
alternator malfunction.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Loosen screws (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 32 3AZ.
Remove air duct (2).
Release clamps (3).
Detach fuel lines from fuel filter unit.
Disconnect plug (4).
Release screws (5).
Lay bracket (6) upwards.
