3 Series E46 330xd (M57) TOUR
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery,
refer to General Information MG 12.
Disconnect battery negative lead from battery negative terminal.
Remove transmission (manual),
refer to 23 00 024.
Remove transmission (automatic),
refer to 24 00 028.
Disconnect vacuum hose (1) at distributor (2).
Release nut (1).
Remove grounding cable (2) from right engine support arm and
lay to one side.
