Replacing crankshaft (M57)
Special tools required:
•
00 9 120
•
11 2 110
(engine removed)
Remove oil pump.
Remove end cover at rear.
Remove all pistons.
Remove front timing case cover.
Once removed, do not place crankshaft on incremental gear.
Failure to comply with this procedure will result in engine
malfunctions.
Unfasten screws.
Remove reinforcement shell (1).
