Check sealing surface (1) for damage (visual inspection).

Clean sealing surface (1); do not use any sharp-edged tools or
aggressive cleaning agents for this purpose.

Check contact lugs (2) for corrosion or damage.

Installation:

Replace hydraulic unit if damage to sealing surface (1) or
contact lugs (2) is found.

Carefully push control unit (1) onto hydraulic unit (2).

Make sure solenoid coils are not tilted.

Housing edge of control unit (1) must slip over shoulder on
hydraulic unit (2).

Press control unit onto hydraulic unit and install screws (1) + (2)
uniformly (do not tighten down) until control unit rests evenly on
hydraulic unit.

Install screws (1) - (6), do not tighten down.

Tighten down screws (1) - (6) in specified sequence with a torque
wrench.

Installation:

Use new screws.

Tightening torque 34 51 1AZ
