Testing device for high-pressure pump
M47TU, M57TU
Situation:
Testing device 13 5 450 has been developed for performing diagnosis on the high-
pressure pump "CP3.2" during the starting process.
The subject of troubleshooting on the high-pressure pump using testing device 13 5 450
is described in SI 13 01 02 (865)
"Examination of fuel high-pressure system (engine
does not start)".
The new high-pressure pump "CP3.2" has been installed since the introduction of the
M47TU in September 2001 and of the M57TU in September 2002. The high-pressure
pump "CP3.2" supersedes the previous first-generation pump "CP1".
Procedure:
Store tools will only be supplied to order.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
