Important!
After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
Use only the approved gear oil in this transfer case.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear underbody protection from assemblies.
•
Remove front propeller shaft (E53).
•
Detach propeller shaft at transfer case (E46).
Press out drive flange (1) with a suitable tool (2) in direction of
arrow.
