Replacing rubber mounts on both control
arms (M3)
Special tools required:

31 2 131
•
31 2 133
Important!
Both rubber mounts must always be replaced together!
If a bracket features a centre punch mark (see Fig. R3101-
74), this bracket must be replaced!
Remove both control arm brackets.
Press rubber mount out of bracket with special tools 31 2 131
and 31 2 133 .
Important!
Check installation location.
Nub/arrow (2) on rubber mount points to marking (1) on
bracket.
Keep bracket and rubber mount clean and free from oil and
grease.
