Replacing fluid reservoir for windshield
washer system (M3, M3 CSL)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Drain fluid reservoir for windshield washer system
•
Remove front bumper
•
If necessary, remove right front fog lamp
Unlock plug connections and disconnect.
Unhook wiring harness (5) from mounting (4).
Turn windshield washer pump (3) in direction of arrow, lift out of
fluid reservoir for windshield washer system and place to one side.
Turn level switch for windshield washer system (2) in direction of
arrow, remove downwards from fluid reservoir for windshield
washer system and place to one side.
Version with headlight cleaning system:
Turn washer pump of headlight cleaning system (1) in direction of
arrow, lift out of fluid reservoir for windshield washer system and
place to one side.
Note:
Shown without fanfare horn for purposes of clarity.
Release screws (1) and remove fluid reservoir for windshield
washer system (2) in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Make sure hoses are laid without kinks.
