3 Series E46 M3 (S54) CONVER
Remove switch for gear detection; to do so:
A
pulling off switch for gear recognition (1) somewhat toward
rear.
B
pressing shaft (2) to right and pulling out of selector shaft.
Installation:
Coat pin (2) with some lubricating grease.
Large diameter of pin (2) points to left.
Insert shaft (1) into selector shaft and insert pin (2) with large
diameter into left bore hole.
Disconnect cable plugs (4 and 5).
Unclip cable at holders.
