Removing and installing/replacing non-return
valve for brake booster (M3)
Note:
Read and comply with General Information.
Before beginning work, press brake pedal several times in order to
reduce partial vacuum in brake booster. This makes it easier to
detach the vacuum hose.
Remove heater bulkhead.
Open hose clamp (1).
Withdraw non-return valve (2) from brake booster.
Detach vacuum hose (3) from non-return valve.
Installation:
Check seal for non-return valve, replace if necessary.
Replace hose clamp (1).
